On 5th, April 2018, prof. Robert was invited to initiate a workshop on the topic of how to do a good review work in UIBE. The workshop provided rich research guidance for reviewing papers, he made the process explicitly by introducing one of his research projects on loyalty programs for business success.

On 16th, July 2018, prof. Robert will be invited again to initiate another workshop, it will focus on the “Research methods for strategy research”, and this workshop has achieved good results.

“Thought Leader Conference on Marketing Strategy in Digital, Data-Rich, and Developing Environments” held at The University of International Business and Economics. This event was organized in conjunction with the Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science special issue. The aim of the conference is to bring together leading scholars working on marketing strategy in digital and data-rich environment, as well as developing markets to discuss emerging research in a highly productive environment. The series of events lasted for three days, attracting teachers and students from hundreds of institutions at home and abroad, and the number of participants reached more than 500.

The 3rd International Conference on Marketing Science and Innovation and the Journal of International Marketing will be held on March 16-17, 2019 in Beijing, China. The theme of the conference revolved around marketing and innovation. The conference aims to summarize, draw on, and develop new theories and frameworks from the practice of Chinese companies, and to build a cross-border communication platform for scholars in the field of business administration at home and abroad to promote interdisciplinary cooperation and innovation.
